Each block is square and has illustrated decorations. There is one block for each note of the musical scale, C D E F G A B C. The blocks are hollow and have bells inside. The second C block has an illustration of a cat playing a flute and the sides have illustrations of the musical scale.

Pim’s Music Blocks Cat ‘C’ Block

Pim’s Musical Blocks were manufactured in Sydney, New South Wales, in the 1940s by L. G. Pimblett. The set of ‘eight tinkling blocks’ came with a music book that showed young children how to play popular nursery rhymes.
